So, Friday night I found out one of my co-workers at Coco's passed away. It's been a really rough couple of days, since I found out. I really like my job at Coco's; all my corworkers there are great people, and we really are like a tight-knit bunch. I started working for this particular Coco's last May as sort of a temp-server, to fill in when they needed a host, or if someone wanted a vacation. And ever I kept getting more and more hours until I decided to transfer and keep that as my permanent restaraunt. Most of the servers/hosts/managers have worked there 5+ years, and everyone's really close to eachother. New people just aren't hired there because the staff is so amazing. So, it was a shock when I heard that one of us died. He was a wonderful man and waiter. He always came in every shift, smilling, laughing, he was the kind of person who would randomly grab one of the other girls and start dancing with her in the middle of the aisle when it was dinner rush, just to lighten everyone's tension. He'd come in nearly every shift with a lipstick print on his cheek from his wife, he'd randomly sing, and all his regular customers loved him.

Infact, when they heard he passed, some of them were devastated. People donated money for his family, and it's been really hard explaining to everyone why he isn't here. He was really one of Coco's more beloved servers. But, unfortunatly, he abused alcohol too much, and that was what eventually did him in. To anyone who drinks in excessive, just remember it will all catch up to you. He had a problem, and refused to admit it, not matter how many times people told him he needed to stop. He'll be missed. I only knew him for about a year, but he was always one of my favorite servers to work with. Rafael, please rest in peace. My heart and prayers are with you.

The really kicker is the last time I saw him, me and a few other servers were making fun of how it doesn't matter how money he makes at a server, he'll just blow it at the bar after work. Haah. While we were just messing around, it's kind of painful to know that was the last laugh we had.

I'll probably be at the funeral tomorrow, so I apologize if I'm not i nthe best of spirits today and tomorrow.

Last Thursday marked the one-month anniversary of Ex-Roommate-Chan leaving.

Ever since our dearly beloved roommate ditched us, and thought she could skip out on rent for two months even though she signed a six month lease stating she was going to live with us for six months, life has been kind of better. I will not miss the rudeness, the toilet-paper guzzling, filthy, leave-your-hair-everywhere, person that was my old roommate. Seriously though. Who signs a six month lease, then over Spring break, two months before our lease ends,decides to leave without saying anything to us? Us being Good-Roommate-Chan and me. I went over to commodore_sd's house for a few days during spring break to chill in Redondo Beach, only to come back to our apartment in boxes, and her so preciously telling us that that was leaving in a day and a half. After a good laugh session, we informed her she still needed to pay rent for two months. Which she had better. Stupid Ex-roommate-chan. PS. You're hidden live journal messages, that you hid from us, and Jester and pretty much all our mutual friends made me laugh. If for some reason you know who me or Jester, and you know who I'm talking about, please take care in knowing she has a secret LJ journal to complain about us<3. Passive-Aggressive Chan makes me lawl.

Anyhow, school's almost over. Hurray! I know I'm looking forward to summer. I have a full-time job lined up, so I'm pretty excited to start making some money again. My student loan still hasn't come, even though it should have been here in January, so life has been a little tough in that respects. Otherwise, I'm getting along pretty well. I'm still sad I didn't get to go to Sakura Con, but maybe Yaoi Con. Hopefully yaoi con. Or depressed Swing will be depressed. And there's talk of me going to Ohayo Con with my beloved jesterroyale. I look forward to you being my new roommate, love. Even if you go to bed at 9:15pm. I miss you. We need to get together again ; 3;! And I especially need to see my askyedragon -lovelovelove-

Any one have any good manga recs? I know alot of good anime has come out this season, so maybe I'll book up the desk top and start up some torrents again. I really wanna watch Valkyrie Chronicles, just because that game makes me happy in certain places <3.

And Persona 4 fucking rocks. I'm really excited about playing it. I also need to continue playing Okami. Delicious, delicious Okami.

Me: Yeah! Last night! Just to ensure I wouldn't be in pain today! [strikes a pose]
Roomate: You're stupid. You could break your spine and you might not even feel it. Dumbass.
Me: HA~! That's okay! As long as I feel good! [dances]

Roomate: You're rolling stupidly. Stand up and do a proper roll.

Nothing too major has been up with me 8D. Just getting through classes, trying to fight my way to get more hours at work (with some success). I got sick for a while, but everything's good now. IT'S ALMOST SAKURA CON 8D! Holy shiiiit I'm excited about seeing vasyenka and meeting lustere for the first time 8D It's gonna be exciting. I love you Shii Shiiii~~~

Is anyone else going to Sakura con I don't know about? How about Yaoi Con? I know I've talked to askyedragon about it and kuroi_rubyheart so that's pretty exciting that I might find people to go with 8D! You're still going right, Shi Shi? Anyways, I've been spending much time with my fabulous jesterroyale and loving every moment with my darling 8D~~ I need to start studying more, so, hopefully after Spring Break I can get myself into a better mindset tostart really working seriously. What's the point in listing what makes me happy day-to-day anyhow. Pretty much the same things make me happy all the times. Namely my friends. Without my friends and my brother (who's pretty much my best friend) I probably wouldn't be here. Lot's of things make me happy though. It's not hard to not make me happy though. Life makes me happy, living makes me happy. Drawing, music, small animals, baby animals that curl up and sleep in your lap/on your chest, sitting alone near a lake, being able to capture a certain moment in time with my camera, playing games with a group of friends, home made-gifts, art, people who share their talents with me, street musicians, diversity, sharing my opinions with someone willing to listen, knowing there's only one of me, cleaning, garlands of flowers, listening to the violin, kids laughing, walking through the cold in a big scarf and large coat, watching movies with friends, stories that older people share with me, life lessons, realizing that I've learned a life lesson, knowing I can make someone smile, History, symbolism, education, muted colors, clouds, dressing silly, trees, swing dancing, formal events I can dress up for, watching the moon, candles, quirks in other people, the concepts and ideals behind revolutions and revolutionaries, blue and silver, necklaces that I can wear without taking off--even in the shower, a classic novel, walking in the rain under an umbrella, driving, driving on a deserted road at night, driving in the rain, foxes, pigs, collecting various pictures and toys and books so I have something to pass onto my children when I have them, the song "God Bless Yee Merry Gentleman", comics, watching water crash on rocks, school, not knowing what's going to happen next, earning money to buy what I want, being somewhere I've never been before, sitting on a rooftop to star gaze, drinking tea on a cold day, my own imagination, hugs and kisses, being around groups of people, being that faceless person in a crowd, new clothes, walking barefoot, crosses and hearts and stars, Church and knowing I always have someone to talk too, Musicals, romance stories, when people try something new, playing the tourguide for someone new to the area, being a waitress, getting a text message.

The list could go on. Why spend just a week typing out what makes you happy? You should spend every day with your happieness a goal. I know what makes me happy-- do you?

Although, Slumdog Millionaire won my heart for BEST MOVIE EVER. Srsly. If anyone liked "Children of Men" then this is a MUSTMUSTMUST SEEEEE movie. Srsly. Go see it.

I've had this habit of NOT going to poltical science class because I...sleep through it OTL. But I went for the first time in two weeks on Friday 8D! As it turned out, a buncha other kids didn't show up that day. SO. Everyone who was there got OMFGSUPEREXTRACREDIT. I laughed to myself so hard e__e; So me 8D! It's not liek I needed it. But now if I decided that I didn't wanna study so hard for the final, I'd be in the clear. I also got to go out with JOANNE, ALLIE, AND NINA and expirience another BEST-DAY-EVER. We went to an amazing little Italian restraunt in San Juan Capistrano~ and then to Starbucks unti lit closed, and then to borders until it closed playign Mahjong 8D. AND WE LEARNED HOW TO PLAY THE CORRECT WAY. BOO YAH. Emerald got to be the top winner and Crimson got to be the top loser 8D! I considered that a win in my book <3. After that all four of us crowded in the back of a 2006 Corolla and watched silly cupnjava AMV's. x]. It was an amazing night~ I LOVE MY FRIENDS SO HARD. EVEN YOU JOANNE. EVEN IF YOU WON'T ADMIT BEING MY FRIEND.

And actually it's really fun to play xD! Last...I think it was Tuesday, I went out with my friends askyedragon and jesterroyale and Sarah (who all live in Irvine/Lake Forest/Mission Viejo/SOMEWHERE DOWN THERE, to try some Vegetarian Chinese food. That idea, initially failed when we realized the restraunt of our affections was closed. It was quite the shame. Instead, we all went to Dihn Ho's, which sufficed and got rid of our Chinese food craving. It was actually super delicious. It was before dinner, at this hole-in-the-wall, random Chinese phone store that I got a Mahjong set. jesterroyale had so lovingly ditched class for us, so we all decided not to end our night early. I got to ride with askyedragon who I SWEAR drives like Hakkai <3. I love it~

We ended up going to the Barnes and Nobles at Irvine spectrum for two and a half hours and learned how to play Mahjong. jesterroyale had printed up these fail instructions on how to play, so we went on a journey to find a book to teach us how to play. Basically, we botched up the game this time and dumbed it down to a simplified version. It was lots of fun. During the game, I decided that we'd all be the Sanzo-Ikkou for the time being. I was dubbed Gojyo for my dashing good looks and amazing read hair (*COUGHCOUGHCOUGH*), askyedragon was undoutedly Hakkai for her srs bznz AND SUPER SAFE. SUPER.SUPER SAFE. Drivign skills. jesterroyale was Goku<3. Because she's short. ILU. Our other friend, Sarah, was Sanzo by default. It worked. She had blonde hair and because she doesn't know much about Saiyuki (EXCEPT WE LOVE IT AND IT'S FULL OF GAY), so she sat silently and was competetive.

The biggest tradgety of that night was that I forgot my camera. I wanted to shoot myself. But actually, that was really an amazing night~ Everyone had fun. WE KEPT REFERENCING YOUR FANFICTION cupnjava! ("So....who gets to deal tonight<3?")
jesterroyale and I kept having mock fights and screaming real loudly in Barnes and Noble, acting like Gojyo and Goku, and askyedragon kept glaring at us evily and stealing everyone's lines. Exceopt for her own. OTL; FAIL.

Once more I have managed to completely forget to post in my live journal for monthes at a time! Hurray! It's amazing how full of win I am somtimes.

Anyhow. Anyone who knows me probably knows I'm still alive. And most of my random life stories have been told to those who matter. But I guess I should post what's been going on in my life every now and then? Hurray!

My trip to New York, back in- what- AUGUST!? Was absolutly amazing. I think I'm the only person who can manage to successfully managed to get robbed on a trip to New York before actually landing in New York.

That itself was a funny story. I was pretty nervous, it was my first time flying, and my first time out on the east coast, and thankfully I had gotton a window seat. Before I left, my friend Jenna told me to make friends on the plane, to make my flight a little more durable. It was a five hour night flight to Charlottoe, NC, afterall. I was happy a girl sat next to me. She was a pretty hot, platinum blonde, Swedish looking girl, who supposivly told me was just getting back from a summer camp from Finland, and she was a native to North Carolina. I made some idle chat- she was pretty cool to me. I ever went to far as to share my gum with her. Which I NEVER do to strangers. But anyhow. To make a long story short-- hot blonde turned out to be a little thief. I had bought myself a coke on the flight-- something I will NEVER, EVER, EVER do again. (Apparently when you fly, the carbonation from soda hurts at high altitudes. Everytime I took a sip of my coke, I felt a piece of my soul die a firey, burny death. Not to mention it made me super sick.). Buying said coke required me to take out my wallet, which I will never do again. Blonde saw my wallet and saw I had cash. And when I fell asleep on the plane I guess she took that oppurtunity to reach over and take my cash and credit cards. Thanfully, though, I DID get sick, and went to buy some tylonel as soon as I got off, only to realize my debit, credit, and cash were gone. Jesus Christ, woman. You would think pretty people didn't need to be so petty? Thakfully, I had a credit card in my backpocket, that I had used before I got on my flight to pay for my large luggage. Hurray for being too lazy to take out your wallet and putting your credit card away! It was depressing though. I had managed to cancle my credit cards just in time though. Alls well that ends well. Except, when I went to the police to report the crime, they told me there was nothing they could do at that airport, and I had to have it handled in NEW YORK. Handle it in New York, my ass. By the time I got there and reported it, God knows where hot blonde would be! What a buncha fuckers. It was a set back, but the rest of my trip was pretty sweet. I managed to loose my ID card twice (without my ID card I wouldn;t have been able to go back to California OTL; And may I also comment my parents had no idea I was in NY? ), I saw Niagra Falls, met the most AMAZING woman in the world (Love you Ana~), met her amazing family, went to a kickass Renn Faire in a FOREST, went to a six-story mall, witnessed someone commit suicide in said 6 story mall, Explored a deserted open field, and a retty awsome neighbohood, saw EVERYTHING NYC RELATED, thought Avenue Q was the BEST. THING. EVER, and got to see The Grand Canyon and Niagra falls 12,500ft above sea level. It was an amazing trip. I plan to go back eventually~

That was just the short version of my trip of course. I had plenty of adventures wandering around everywhere, and I got to see Chicago as well. I can't say it enough how awsome my friend's Family was to me. I felt super specal~

Other than my New York trip, nothing too major has been going on. I'm living full time in my apartment now with my awsome roomates. I must say it's really weird living with girls this intimatly. Last semester I essentically lived with one other girl, who was amazing, and we were out most of the time. Working, classes, friends? We hung out outside of our room, but other than that, our room was for sleeping and internet time, in which cases we generally didn't talk much. But now I'm living with two girls, where we all share a room, TV time, internet time and alot of my "going out with friend time" is spent going out with one or both of them. The past two weekens I've gone home to stay with my family, and it made me realize how much privacy I've given up, and the fact I'm not living around guys anymore. I don't really mind the lack of privacy, I prefer sharing my time with other people, but it is kind of strange living with two girls. I love them both dearly though<3~ My roomate Joanne and I seem to be spending alot of time together~ and for whatever reason, we have a dangerous habit of spending gratuitous amounts of money together. Wrrryy? It's almost impossible to have a bad day hanging out with her~ I've also been spending alot of time with Nina. Which is rather amazing~ I LOVE YOU NINA<3 WHY DO WE ALWAYS MAKE A SCENE WHEREVER WE GO!>. I love making new friends. And to my old friends-- gimme dates you'e free so we can hang out D<!!

And speaking of apartments and living with guys, after four weeks, I bid farewell to Francsis. He was the apartment's offcial cooking slave. His home was water damaged due to an angry, protesting toilet. It was pretty amusing. One guys. Three girls. Said guy knew how to cook. Three said girls...fail at it? It was like an incredibly cheesy manga. But god am I going to miss his food. It's nice to have our livingroom back but....no more home cooked meals. Tradgety. Oh well. It was exciting having someone who knew how to cook living with us while it lasted. Maybe I do a comic about it oneday. I'm not sure how my roomates would like me drawing them, but oh well |D;; I could stick on one of those amusing "ANY RESEMBLENE TO ANY OF THE CHAACTERS IN THIS STORY IS MERELY A COINSIDENCE". The perfect crime.

Haha. I guess that's all for now. As a final note to summerize everything, here's what's been happening in short, i nthe past three months:
-I've finally caught up with Saiyuki Gaiden and I'm in LOOVE With Kenren/Tepou pairing<33 SLASHSLASHSLASH.SHIPSHIPSHIP.
-I've been drawing moar. Moar drawings D<!
-I've seen the greatest show i nthe history of shows: Strangers With Candy <3
-Bored of school. Even though I've only got a year left of it x__x; I've learned nothing </3
-Saw a STARS Concert with Cruzle<3. Oh god it was AMAZING.
-Got to spend the last hour of Halloween with my favorite Fountain Valley people EVER <3
-Made plans to go to Atlanta, Georgia to see the Chinese Terracotta Soldier exhibit x]!
-And I've joined 30_kisses! It's a pretty neat LJ community, that gies you a prompty, and you gotta draw or write 30 kiss scenes with any fandom. I'm there shipping Kenren and Tepou of course x]. Likewise, I've always joined 30dates, with my best friend Kyrie~ We're doing Hakkai/Goku (saiyuki also~). We'll see where that goes!
